John Hargy won Student Association (SA) president in the SA general elections. Hargy, senior biophysics major, beat his opponent, Chino Zhao, sophomore nursing major, by 389 votes. Hargy received 822 votes (65.5%), while Zhao received 433 votes (34.5%).
Jeaneva Bautista, senior accounting major, won SA executive vice president. She beat her opponent, Heaven Robles, sophomore biology major, by 151 votes. Bautista received 703 votes (56.02%), while Robles received 552 votes (43.98%).
Esmeralda Paulino, sophomore business-public-relations major, was voted as SA social vice president. Paulino ran unopposed and received 853 “yes” votes (67.97%).
1,255 students voted in this year’s general election for 2025-2026 SA.
