This semester, I organized ticket sales and promotion for my upcoming banquet, A Night in Atlantis, which will be held at the Tennessee Aquarium. I’m proud to share that banquet tickets sold out in record time — a first in Student Association history. This level of demand has not occurred in recent memory for a banquet event, making this achievement especially meaningful.
From developing the event concept and theme to overseeing promotion and ticket strategy, I gave it my all to generate excitement and interest around A Night in Atlantis. Selecting a venue as unique as the Tennessee Aquarium helped elevate the event, and careful planning around messaging and timing contributed to the unprecedented response from students.
While this accomplishment reflects work, I am personally proud of, it was made possible with the support of our dedicated Student Association team. Their help with promotion, communication, and coordination played an important role in reaching students and ensuring ticket sales ran smoothly. Their support strengthened the effort and helped turn an ambitious goal into a historic result.
This record-breaking ticket sell-out already represents a significant success and sets a new standard for future Student Association banquets.
